Common questions
What is the purpose of an accident investigation?
The purpose is to understand what happened, learn from it and prevent recurrence — through objective evidence review, root-cause analysis and proportionate corrective actions. It is not a route to avoid liability.
Can you help with RIDDOR and enforcement matters?
Where appropriate, support can include assistance with RIDDOR considerations and regulatory or enforcement liaison. We do not advise employers not to report incidents that must be reported.
